Close Encounter

IMG_9005

This week’s photo, taken February 24, 2016 from the pier in Edmonds, WA, features a BALD EAGLE flying toward me at eye level. It eventually swooped up and flew over my head, and at no time did I fear for my life. Nevertheless, to play it safe, I resisted the temptation to drop to the deck and perform my superb imitation of a Mallard. I decided this was not the best time for doing duck impressions.
